SteveieP 0
If you must have something pointy, you could try something that's almost pointy but not quite. AA Tru Hunter. Same weight as AA Field but with a slightly rounded point & therefore (IMO) holding their accuracy a little better over distance than a sharp pointy thing. As to your prposed choices, as ever, it's a matter of seeing what goes well in your particular gun & / or for a particular purpose. Superdomes are worth a try, if for no better reason than they're a bit cheaper. However, for most purposes you can't whack AA fields at round about 16 grains (in .22) Heavy enough to blat the toughest airgun quarry. Soft enough alloy to deform well on impact. Accurate, helped by it's domed head. Goes well in most guns. Quote Link to post

bates88 0
Hi there Not really brilliant i have a Lightning XL myself and i use BSA Interceptors all the time never go wrong. Always give good results. Perhaps give them a try? Thanks Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Domed pellets are the most accurate you can buy...pointed pellets of any make are not accurate in comparison...target shooters NEVER use pointed pellets...I wonder why???? Also consider what someone else has already said...if you do hit anything with them, pointed pellets can sometimes go straight through therefore wasting energy by not imparting it all into the quarry.. So it doesn't really stack up all that well for pointed!! Ask yourself why you want a pointed pellet, get some to try by all means, a good idea, but I suspect after using them you will change!!
