Getting a new CZ Style shortly. I was wondering what the best ammo would be to use

as above but i would start with eley subs. mine loves them ragged small finger nail sized groups at 60 yards

From reading posts over the last 6 months, Eley do see to be the preffered round for most people.

I use winchester in my CZ style. I have tried a couple of brands, but my rifle suits winchesters.

Eley subs are favorite for me with Remmingtons being my biggest dislike!

I,ve tried a wide variety of ammo in the past, however I use nothing but Winchester sub.

I find Eleys very smokey and sometimes inconsistent and for some reason they dont have the stopping power of Winchester.

The hollowpoint on Winchesters seem to be larger and expand more, thereby giving better stopping power.

Thats just my opinion gents, so use whatever your comfortable with.

Try Eley subs and Winchester subs before you try anything else, most likely that one or the other will give you good enough results to not be bothered about the rest.

BEST in my CZ Silhouette is Eley Subs, but I use almost exclusively Magtech 40g HP as they are very good and about half the price...and I use a lot!!! CCI was also very good but hard to chamber.

 

However, as has already been said, try a few, all barrels are different..even from the same manufacturer!!
