Don't you believe it! Yes Lucky Scalp does get covered with a big spring tide, especially with an easterly wind pushing it in. I was down there on the 12th and all that was showing was the founds for the old lighthouse, untill a big tanker went past with a 3' bow wave. And that was on a flat calm day. Thanks for that mate i have never ever seen that under water but thats gd to know for the future you would never think it with all that reeds and nice beach on top cheers. Alright selvey, hope we are talking about the same place here bud but i got a chance to shoot geese a month or so back on a pig farm called Vicarsford next to tensmuir forest. Anyway there were thousands there that day a mixture of pinks and greys but on a 100 acre field they weren't interested in the decoys. Managed to bag 1 for the day so wasn't a complete wash out.
