wingnut 27 Posted October 6, 2008 Report Share Posted October 6, 2008 Hi i was just wondering if anyone out there can give me a bit of advice i have been fly fishing for a while now, and use a team of flies regulary but i was just wondering if anyone can show me with pics preferably how to attach droppers to the leader i have a method i use but seem to loose some some times, is there a good way anyone knows of which works well any advice or pics would be appreciated thanks. Lay 2 pieces of line next to each other, then tie an overhand loop, then go through the loop again with the tag ends (so there's 2 twists rather than 1 if you understand what I mean). Pull it tight and cut the dropper to length. Really simple. Quote Link to post

Love fishing the big reservoir on a bit of a swell with a black knat, or similar, waiting excitedly for that hidden monster to slash that fly down... cant beat it. Quote Link to post

I have had size 26 hooks, but , to be honest, they are exactly the same size as the 24's....bloody rip off b*****ds...lol Quote Link to post
