hi all, I currently have a lurcher but i am after another dog for lamping Rabbits only) and ferreting. how would a decent bred whippet compare to a small lurcher? do they have the stamina to take many rabbits over a night? cheers

Yes they do.Work on the dogs stamina by increasing periods of exercise .They are not as stupid as made out to be either .

Having always had lurchers, I was so surprised to find that my whippet is far easier to train than my previous lurcher's.

 

Also check out Mike Brown's website (working whippet breeder) where you can see the results of a whippets work.

YEA I AM BUT DONT DO MUCH NOW I BUY OLD FARMS AND BARNS ETC AND RENOVATE THEM GET THE TROWEL OUT NOW AND AGAIN
