Buying a clay trap

I notice there are some cheap clay traps for sale, the kind that mount to a tyre etc. My question is are they any good at all? Should I save up for a bowman instead? I only want it for a bit of fun, but dont want something that only lasts 50 clays. Any advice

I bought one earlier this year - I think it cost me £30 off ebay - didnt last too long in its original form, but once fettled - longer tougher chassis and the main spring retainer beefed up a little - its still throwing clays - and it can do 2 at a time as well.

well i know the ones on a tyre they not much good i go for the bowman there a great any other questions please pm me
