Okay.

My near 12 month old pup is causing disturbance, by barking in the kennel/run.

He is well walked (Had him out till after midnight last night, and he still started barking at 9AM this morning)

I have tried the "hose pipe" & "bucket of water" tricks. And it hasnt done anything.

I tried a "static correction" collar. This curbed it a bit, but is now totally use-less

I dont want to have to go down the line of getting a remote electric collar, but it looks like this is going to be the next step.

He is kenneled with my older deerhound X, the deerhound makes no noise what-so-ever, exdcept occasionally, when i let him out the run, he lets a few barks of excitement out, which is acceptable.

Does anyone have any tips 'n' tricks to stop the little git barking. As it's driving me, my dad & my mam up the wall :wallbash:

the thing about hitting him on the snout with a paper, is once i step out the back door, he shuts up. it takes me 10 seconds to walk to the dog run. SUrely, by this time, it is too lat for physical punishment? Will he not associate me coming to the run, with getting a whack?

cheers
