Tyla 3,179
Came back from holiday last week (which cost a fortune) having got engaged (which also cost a fortune) all ready to buckle down to work and sort some money out. On the way to work my van threw its cambelt, now needs a new engine, got towed back, borrowed Amy's car to get half a day in, leaving site ran over a piece of pipe and blew out tire, found her spare is not even for her car, next day borrowed a mates car and on the way to work an apple fell down and smashed the windscreen! Then this morning Tyla impales her leg on a stick gonna cost £50 plus the treatment coz its a sunday! So now i need to buy a new engine for my van, a tire for Amy's car, a windscreen for my mate, pay the vet off and Tyla is out of action right at the beginning of the season. i must have been Vlad the impaler or Hitler in my last life

Guest JohnGalway
Come on man, that's all minor stuff, you'll have well forgotten about in six months time. No ones died or been disabled or anything really bad I bet if you look around at people you know and their relations you'll see much worse things going on. Anytime bad stuff happens to me I think of a particular guy I know, come home to live and start a family, was building his own house, fell off a wall and is paralysed from the neck down. So like that title of that book says, don't sweat the small stuff

Sure i'll be laughing about it sometime soon, already starting to seethe funny side of the apple thing Just back from the vets, they are keeping her in over night coz they have to put her out to see if theres anything still in there. Gonna be £300 but they reckon she will be good as new once its healed. The missus just made cheese on toast too so things are looking up!

Join the club I bought a car a week ago because my old one died. I went fishing on friday with mackem. We got back to the car loaded the stuff in the boot and jumped in to realise some horrible little c**t had jumped on the windscreen. It was completely shattered you couldn't see a thing out of it. We looked at each other and burst out laughing it was either that or cry . Mackem done a grand job of kicking the windscreen out then proceeded to sit on the broken glass Luckily we saw the funny side and came to the conclusion that a car with no windscreen would be pretty good for lamping. Mind you when your doing down the motorway at 2 in the morning its a bit on the chilly side. Cost £140 to get repaired and the car is covered in scratches. The car that died recently i had just spent £700 getting through an mot then another couple of hundred about a month later getting new tyres and an exhaust. My mate at work had a bit of bad luck the other week that i couldnt help but laugh at. We had a meeting with all our managers at work on safety. The main thing they were getting on at was they were sick of people driving up other cars arses and how dangerous it was. We left the meeting and hit traffic straight away. There was 2 cars up on the pavement further down the road. He'd only gone and drove into the back of someone no more than 50m from the meeting its good to know its not just me then! Tyla is back, looking horribley sorry for herself with a mass of stitches and a drain poking out of her leg My wallet is lighter but in the insurance should cover it and she should be fine in the long run which is the main thing. Now i can get back to looking for an engine Cheese on toast was good too!
