I found that when we had em ( they were in the shed ) a few traps in the garden with mars bars on them worked a treat  until a robin tried the mars bar :doh: So i just shoot em off the bird feeder when i see em on it , keeps my eye in

Like everyone is saying ,traps or poison. You can't really afford to tolerate em as they carry disease ,chew wiring, wreck insulation, nest and wee and poo in all the stuff you have stored up there like suitcases ,kids toy's and Christmas decorations , and if they find their way through the into the larder...."whoopee!"

Network of traps every few yards or poison bait stations-again every two or three yards apart around the perimeter and next to the beams.Don't skimp on the poison ,don't let it run -out. Follow instructions about use and safety or have a professional do the work if you have any doubts.

If you use poison bait you'll probably find that it'll sound like a Mexican dance is being held in the attic for the first couple of nights .It'll soon calm down :whistling: Good luck

If you use poison & dont find the sods it may get bit stinky til they crusty. But kill them - they breed like wild fire, if you got any small furry pets (not dogs) & they start eating from there food bowls there urine can kill little pets. They'll chew through everything. Traps & plenty of em- empty them daily. I can get 6 a day a corn cropping time, rather em dead than running round garage where we keep all sorts of stuff.

A quick question. jbsw

Are you running a public survey on hunting and pest control teqhniques?

Just seems most of your posts are fact finding.

What would you do with mice in the attic or squirrels. Lets have it textbook!

What do you do with your ferrets?

Not being derogatory just interested to know.
