Google hunting grounds

Has anyone used 'Google earth' to locate new places to give the dogs a run it gives detailed aerial images of the whole of the uk. (cant quite make out the hares/rabbits tho!!!)

And its free to download from google.

would be interesting to find anyone using this search method,but usually these searches do not reveal more important

'put off factors' such as can you be seen or are you suppoesd to be on there,also as already mentioned the amount of quarry or lack of,still maybe someone has used this and can enlighten us,personally i prefer the hands on 'reccy' aproach!

you can see where the nearest buildings/roads are (where you might be seen)

but your right nothing beats gettin of your arse an checking it out for yourself!

Ive took my dogs down the vale a few times but no rabbits at the moment? might be mixi

a few foxes though!
