dirty twister 31 Posted October 4, 2008 Report Share Posted October 4, 2008 hi there i am looking for advice on what criteria when choosing a pup from a litter i have decided on a lab and i yesterday i went to look at a litter .the sire is known to me i have seen him work very good dog also the dam is a good worker.this bitch stood out to me very playful energetic and looks good and strong she is only 5 weeks there were 10 pups in the litter but she stood out.is there anything i should look out for many thanks, stevie. mally 832 Posted October 4, 2008 Report Share Posted October 4, 2008 Nice one, Don't forget to mark the bitch you've chosen mate. they change so quick. I clipped the fur on my lab pups tail when i picked it at 6 weeks old. Glad i did as they all looked the same at 8 weeks old!!! Quote Link to post
