gas ram and springers

hi all i was thinking about getting a tuned springer or gas ram rifle in 177. as a subsitute rifle to shoot for my hw100 in 22.

 

i loved my 97k but i prefer the thought of having gas ram as you can leave them cocked longer without causing damage but thats all i really understand about them, what top end rifles can you recomend and avoid?

is the recoil a problem with a tuned gas-ram compared to a tuned springer? i know there will b recoil in both but im looking for a model with the minimum and maximum accuracy, weight and price is not an issue.

There's only one cohice really then: the Theoben Evolution. A superbly accurately rifle. Get it from Ben Taylor and he'll do a few things to make it even smoother.

I just got a HW90k and it's an excellent rifle, well built and very sweet to shoot. The only issue is it does weigh in on the heavy side.

what theobens you got in mind lads? im liking the old school look of the hw90 though are they good up to about 20ftlbs?

hi dont underestimate the tx200 they are a nice rifle straight out of the box although they are abit heavy but you soon get used to em cheers mal
