Meerihunter 7
We had another look out last night as it was probably the windiest night we've had this season. Things did'nt start too well though with Farouq running a few half heartedly because they were already running in near the fence when I slipped. As the night went on he became more determined and regained trust in my abilty to delay the rabbit from leaving the field with a flicker of the beam. I think it was just a case of him confusing what achievable hunting by day compared to lamp work. I'll keep an eye on him and maybe run him with his mother or father on a few right on the field edges if he eases off at all he'll soon get going again when he see's his mother or father piling into the field edge. Took some video some might get round to putting it up tommorrow. Edited October 4, 2008 by Meerihunter Quote Link to post

Meerihunter 7
Here's the video, don't get overly excited about it though. Making it has kept my mind off my Man Flu that I'm dying of tonight. name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> Quote Link to post

Meerihunter 7
Once again, good stuff. I had a whippet x collie once, that started to pick her runs, it seems some do, others dont, as some of her litter mates, did not. The OH's collieX is bad for it, as the night went on he got much more committed so I'm not really concerned well done, good video for lamping and recording it on your own, good one. I quite surprised how well they are coming out considering it's not a camcorder and its simple dangling around my neck recording whats in front of me. Quote Link to post
