bath anyone?

Recommended Posts

ello

I live in bath now since a week and it's quite nice, except for not having found accomodation yet. anyway-

the area looks very nice, at least from out of the train, i see a lot of rabbits, the occasional roe deer and this morning I saw about 15-20 pheasants. I would like to go hunting or do something huntign related here. so if someone could point into the right direction or take me with him it would be much appreciated.

I have some years experience with hunting in germany, especially roedeer and boar but also decoying for pigeons and fox shooting.

cheers

did you move to bath for work, it is temp or permanent, are you a german national? What type of hunting do your have experience with?

I moved to bath because I'll be working in trwobridge as a teacher until the end of may 2009. After that I'll go back to Germany to finish studying. 25 years old, german national.

As already said, I have experience with hunting boar and roedeer, especially roedeer. Also quite a lot of experince with shooting foxes, most hunting we do is from the treestand, but I did a little stalking, too. I am confident to place accurate shots to a distance of up to 250meters, given the equipment is sufficient for this. I shoot quite a few foxes during the year.

i also have quite a lot of experience with decoying, especially crow decoying. I'm a quite ok shotgun shooter, prefer the rifle to be honest.

I have some - not much - experience with duck hunting.

We also do some driven hunts in autumn and winter in germany, so I've done those too - some as a beater, some as a hunter.

I used to train shooting every two to three weeks, been to the shooting cinema about every 3-4 months.

I am experienced with working dogs, have a GSP at home.

don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for a free hunt or expect anyone to just say "here's my gun, this is my land - go crazy, mate"

I'd just like to do some hunting related things while I'm over here, I already miss hunting a lot. When I'm back in Germany I could surely set up a roebuck hunt in return.
