Whats very unfortunate is that here in Ireland most terriermen are still happy to buy a terrier of anyone at all, no questions asked.

I don't believe they're going to England, not most of them anyway.

There is a certain family of knackers in Limerick buying stolen terriers and because they have a lot of punters the terriers are being moved on straight away. The well known dog stealing knacker in Co. Galway is stealing plenty up the country and he is then supplying the scumbag in Limerick. The Limerick knacker is not even a digging man but it must be worth his while to trade in terriers.

Balinasloe is on all next week. No doubt there be a few stolen terriers at that.

I heard the other day of an old woman answering a knock at the door. A knacker woman kept her talking while a young knacker went round the back and broke in stealing her handbag. But that is there tradition and right.

They only have to hear your dogs barking and they'll sneak around.

High security, have no scum around, don't sell pups or adults, exercise of the beaten track and dig with no one bar your own friends and you have a small chance of beating the thieves.

fuckers tryed to steal me and my brothers dogs last night was just told by me old fella.

the only thing that stoped the c**ts was the german shepard but the poor f****r has go vets cause he has a huge gash in the top of his head c**ts must of hit him with something.

my mate had his terrier stole from leeds kippax. the lad that stole it is called stuart macintosh. if you see this stuart i have been in all the pubs in kippax garforth an ledston an been to your house as u will no il tell you this mate i will find you and i dont care who you are with you better get that dog bak because i hate dog thieves and the lad is a good friend of mine!!!

i didnt say not to take there dogs i said i dont know how people know of these dogs were there in the first place i said maybe there followed as for the knacker takeing a handbag i forgot that knackers so you call them are thieves and gorgers aint i forgot that why are you trying to make this against travlers im sorry this mans dogs were taken doesnt mean all dog thieves are travlers or thieves i aint

sorry to hear about the dogs,theres a few lurchers geting took around this way,its not on taking someones dogs like they need taught a lesson the dirty feckers,i had a dog stole 18month ago it just dissapeard off the face of the earth never had a sighting or owt.

Romany Gypsies are not an issue here in Ireland.

To be P.C., Travellers are however.

I know of many, many dog thieves here in Ireland.

They are scum of the lowest level and anyone who stands up for them is as bad.

In fact I know a man who was friends with a knacker and wouldn't hear a bad word said about his "friend".

That all changed when he went out to his hayshed one day and lifted a bale. Behind the bale was a stash of stolen tools. In his hayshed.

He now hates knackers, could you blame him.

So lads if your offered a terrier by a knacker ask yourself "what's a man who doesnt dig doing with a working terrier".
