Guest Andrewh
Hi all, I've been given permission to ferret a few 30 acre farms and even though the farmers say they see rabbits there I cant find them. There's plenty of holes with fresh earth on some with droppings but I'm not getting the numbers i thought i'd get with the amount of holes. My ferrets are 2yrs old & this year was their 1st year at ferreting. Went out all day yesturday and just got 1 rabbit & this morning i got none so after the last bury when i found young rabbits running ( 5wks old?) i decided to pack up and go home. I normally use 2 ferrets while out as most holes are between 5 & 40! When dose the season end please folks? Many thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Andy Quote Link to post

Mitch 0
How do you guys deal with being able to stop ferreting for all that time. Im out every week, and if i miss a week im gutted. But i commend you guys for it, must make you more keen to get out when the season begins again I spose the ferrets having Kits would keep you occupied, Do you save bunnies to feed to the Kits to help them get the idea when its time to work them? And does everyone still keep around on the forums or am i in for some real time by myself whilst the season is over? Cheers people Quote Link to post
