Marks one of lifes characters,slightly more flambouyant than most guys,the peacock-phenomenon,he is damned if he does and he is damned if he doesnt,how thins the tightrope he has to walk to appease everyone?He had a good night,great sport in decent company,and people want to read about it,why not to be honest?Gimmee a truthfull answer?Where would you rather have been last night,a yard behind MB or sitting at home watching TV?Its a rhetorical question,answers itself doesnt it? ;)

Without wanting to rain on anyones parade, the true test of whether or not hares are easier/harder or just the same at night, would be to retreive them on the same bit of land, with the same dogs, during the daytime and see whether the numbers accounted for are similar :yes: If Cat can retreive 5 during the day on the flinty land then you will know theres no truth in people saying they are easier at night. If she can retreive more than 5 well you know its more than an untruth its pure bollocks, and you will also have a more than decent dog in your kennel IMO. Your host being the gentleman he is am sure he will take you out during the day and show you some good sport. Finally putting all these theories to rest :)

Im pleased I spotted this at 4 pages after the pics of the shot hares were removed, after all I wouldnt want to catch Mark in the act of being a hypocrite :no: he did seem to go off on one about me posting some pics of a few days out I had last winter where the keepers shot some hares and we used our dogs to retreive them :)

I got invited down that way for a night out with a strange fella from darlington he is a homesexual. Iam not homophobic but I dont really fancy the idea of having that date rape drug put in my tea then waking up with a sticky rear :11:

Well done mark :good: I hear the lads from down there are a decent bunch.

i would have liked to have seen some bigger bolders but that will do ..... you are the ultimate dog man and i am a pretender ... well done ......................
iam no ultimate dog man,but also i dont get caught up in the fame and glory of lurchers :whistling: i work my dogs and i represent working dog men and women,what pisses me of is things like people who permently slag and slate other folk of looking to belittle them at anytime folk like me no one would beleave cause i couldnt type a line are put a picture up,no one beleaving me are what i said,even you inviting me to the plains the week after the fens but on the word of miles and tc cancelling our day out cause they told you i was a wanker,you didnt even give me the chance,hey well who cares your loss,to many people wanting to make money of the sites sellin things :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy: even knockin there dogs up to sell pups and to make the ultimate line of runing dog for money its all bollocks if and when i have pups they go to proper dog lads who talk the talk and walk the walk and i suppose a lot more of you want to stop braggin each other up and start doing what we all love,all the best mark and also why when i post somthing on moochers i get nothing but shit from people and mods posts deleted the lot hope,

mark lets get somthing straight , i didnt say anything at all about you not going to the plains , i dont give a f**k what you do, I like most people on here find you funny , all your bosting and bragging ....

Another thing , you always seem to bring the puppy thing up whenever my name comes into the conversation , bumming dogs up to make money on them !!! have you thought of this yourself ? or is some clown feeding you it???

I have had dogs from the age of 8 , im now 39 , and have only bred one litter in all that time , I bred this litter as my other dogs are getting old , no other reason , so were do you get this idea from that i breed for money ?????

Mark if you have a problem with me pm me , ill come meet you and sort it out , it will only take one phone call from you , if you dont have a problem leave me out of your comments as i dont comment on you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

markbrick, there is no sport in lamping hares, in daylight the hare would be through the first hedge and away on, at night it will run round the same field all night. have a bit of respect for the hare, try your dogs in daylight and see how many you lift. im glad you dont live over here.

i really enjoyed the evening and all the stories ive read and heard about hampshire iam sure these boys must not have adventured to other parts of the uk as it was not as bad as ive heard all the stories and pms i recieve about my dogs wouldnt last on the flint and your out of your comfort zone well this is the third visit and my oppinion is all built up to inflame some dogs and write some books iam still of the oppinion cornwall has some of the hardest rabbits in the uk,again thankyou to my host and your welcome to come to cornwall anytime you wish and now we are of to the fens for tonight and tomorrow to see some old and new freinds with the little rabbit dogs all the best mark

How can you say that cornwall has some of the hardest rabbits in the uk mate :no: have you been to every county in the land and lamped rabbits ?. by the numbers of rabbits you seem to bag mate they carnt be that hard if your honest. Rabbits get harder and harder the more there ran and lamped like any quarry, if there virgin rabbits never seen the lamp there gonna be easier than if there lamped all the time year in year out, rabbits can only run so fast mate and once theyve become zoomers as soon as the lamps on it comes down to the type of land your running them on, theres rabbits down here mate that i can garuntee your dog or any dog wont even get close enough to put a bend on before they hit cover, at the end of the day if you lamping places with a very high population of rabbits your gonna catch a high amount, and its gonna take em longer to clue up on the lamp because your not running the same ones time after time :wallbash:

:clapper::clapper: spot on mate
