my second x bedlington greyhound was a good guard, not just for the property,i knew when we wur out it would be hard for certain people to get hold of me iv never had another dog like him.

that sounds like a perfect dog to me darza. you didnt get a pup out of him?

I have been thinking about this because i have a strong young whippet/beddy with a touch of grey, i think he might make 24". Anyway hes started an aggressive barking if he hears anything by the house after dark. Not sure if he would follow through but it sounds like a "im gonna fcuk you up" type bark to me.

-best

Ooty's lurchers do,the old girl he has has and still would pull a man down on command and she's 10 years old,her daughter is learning and god help any bugger that tried to nick em.The old one don't bark just sneeks in and your f**ked, the younger one does bark(goes quit mental when in the motor really)something he has bred to to keep in his strain. One of the founding dogs of his strain once went through a van windscreen at somone that was winding him up from outside the van, know a few lads with them that gaurd well and if no one belives me sneek in his house lol.

Got a 11 month old bullx who stands 26.5tts and weighs 80lbs. A mate of mine went round the back of my house to look at the dogs in the run while he was waiting for me.

He phoned me saying that the pup was showing his teeth and wouldn't let him get into the run. He is very protective when out on the lead aswell and is quite a presence
