PigHunter 0
I use a 150 grain Barnes X-bullet in my .308 load and am very pleased with its performance on wild pigs. I suggest staying away from fast expansion bullets such as the Nosler Ballistic Tip.
Capreolus 0
I agree with pighunter 150gr Barnes will do the job fine but I would prefer to go heavier in case you meet that 200+kg monster!!!!
waidmann 105
i always use 185 grain on boar. 30'06. you want as much energy to stay in the pig as poss ( soft head, deformation) if going with dogs then try to get one with minimal splintering ( winchester silvertip,at short range a good choice). do not use the failsafe from winchester imo. if not used to leading with a rifle and are going through with the dogs some of mymates prefer to use a s shotgun( solid shot) beware of richochet!!!!!!!!!! hit em hard. stop em dead.
