lofti 579
yesterday i had Chaz my 10 1/2 month old bullx pts. 3 weeks ago Chaz was on his 4th night out on the lamp, when on his return after a run he either heard or got sent of something and ran in the opposite direction. when i got to him he was on the ground near a large rock. when i tried to stand him he couldnt use his front right leg. so we carried him back to the van. the next morning he was still the same so i took him to the vet, who gave an xray and said he had no broken bones but had no feeling from the shoulder down the vet said feeling should return within 3 days so all we could do was hope and wait. after pain killers and lots of massages Chazs leg was still not working. i was told to wait another couple of weeks by the vet and could only wait . a couple of days later and not totaly happy i got a second oppinion from a specialist greyhound vet, to learn that all the nerves were broken and poor Chaz would never get use back of his leg ! Chaz was showing very promising sighns of becoming a very good worker. he had a lovely temprement, and was every thing i wanted in a dog., he was keen and learnig fast, starting to retreive to hand live. his 3rd night lamping catching 14 rabbits! i am absolutly gutted i have lost him ,and miss him ALOT. RIP CHAZ... Edited September 30, 2008 by lofti75 Quote Link to post
