Guest hyperion
yes the act will be repealled and the ban lifted!, all it takes is for every one in field sports to stand up and shout with one voice!the question should be when will the ban be lifted! the answer is when we do some thing about it! cheers Nice sentiments mate but positive thought sdon't make it so. I remember marching through London thinking"how can they not listen to us".................remember how that turned out? aye! tony (his nick name was miranda in law school) blair bought the war on iraq with the hunting ban! it has to be repealed! its just another wepon in a pointless class war and nowt to do with aniamal wellfare! bout time the countryside was running the towns and not the other way around, it does my head in that so many people i know wont vote, all they say is whats the point? Guest WILF
No............ The main big hunting organisations such as BASC, CA etc spend all the advertising money on adverts aimed at hunters (there main income source ) instead of promoting hunting in the wider media to the general public...........no money in the general public you see. Here is a little tip for you boys at the CA, BASC..........its no good preaching to the converted lads So, all the time hunting remains the domain of a small minority of oddballs (in the public eyes).....the ban will never be lifted. But get it out there, promote it to the public at large and show all the positive stuff about fieldsports..........then maybe, one day.........just maybe.

ChrisJones 7,975
No repeal on the ban. Tories will restrict airguns more. Best we can get with hunting is a degree of tolerance and that all depends on how f****d the situation is to begin with. Don't expect a Tory PM to devote any parliamentary time to hunting, not until they have unraveled the Brown and Blair legacy. That is if they can. Best bet is to get out there and just get on with it, don't advertise it.
