HELP Ferret broken paw

Recommended Posts

Cleaning out the ferrets tonight, one ran indoors, and my son shut his paw in the door by accident, now it is very quite and cant use its paw, phoned the vet and am waiting for a call back, can a broken paw be repaired or is it a case of humane dispatch, does anyone know?

Thanks.

well you know they have lots of bones in their feet ,not sure if any are broken that they could be set ,it might just be badly bruised you wouldnt be moving much if you trapped your foot in the door ,see what the vet says

Alls well that ends well! the vet said see how it goes for 24hrs or go to emergency vet £115 consultation. So i gave her 24 hrs, and today she's still got a bit of a limp but seems pretty lively and is using her foot.

Looks like it was just bruised or something, thaks for the advice guys.

And girl. :signthankspin:
