stubby 175
Hi i have just started to use a mk1 locator but twice have had to dig for a collar how do you keep the beggers on ,i have them that tight that the ferrets eyes are just about bolging but the buggers still manage to get them off. this used to happen to me also what i found was to pit bells on after collar and that cured it for me...regards IP sorry, but how is putting bells on, going to stop them coming off obviously your not putting them on tight enough if they can slip them Quote Link to post

The one 8,476
I dont get that either hows bells going to stop the collars coming off a ferret ??? .I put mine on as tight as i dare then put the ferret down and see if it can walk about and still breathe ,then pop them in the carrying box and go ferreting and if they dont slip there collars in the box i dont reckon they will during the day Quote Link to post
