ps.as you lamp most nights are them bunnies gettin more harder to catch ie lamp shy?

regards IP

hi,ip the rabbits here arnt easy rabbits :no: beleave me, there on the move all the time especally this time of yr when there is no wind and very still,we are now runing a lot on stubble and they move on that stuff, also with the amount of foxes here the rabbits are alert, iam not complaining as tonight my black dog had 15 from 17 runs, lady the brindle the rest and she did a lovelly retreave :D:D ,friday night had 2 fellow members of here and it was the worse night for a long time a heavy dew and no wind only netted us 19 rabbits and another retreaved fox but at least the foxes are of very good size and quality,as the buggers are feasting on pheasant poults at the moment :doh: ,all the best mark

Yawn...yawn...yawn

why does that make ya sick kid

The catch rate dont make me sick, its the bragging that does it

cant see were i have bragged anything in this title, i think if you see that as bragging you must have a boring life and should seriously look for a new one all i have stated is my catch rate this month backed up by a few photos,.......................went for another walk tonight and added the grand total up for the month,17 retreaved foxes the .22 is doing well and a total of 511 rabbits for the month to date thanks for looking mark

Nice bag that mate, you must have some grand dogs there fella, there must be alot of quarry around your way they will have to breed like billio if they dont wanna get wiped out lol. due to the amount of stuff your dogs have caught, just wondering if theyve got clued up on the lamp, not running certain rabbits near hedges or cover as they know where theyre gonna go, or do they run anything they see still ?, nice post keep em comming.

hi in answer to your question, the black one will go were you shine a lamp and doesnt matter whats in her way,we have a lot of quarry rabbits and foxes and the odd hare to flush now which will be great when they move the bails from the fields, the brindle is clued up a bit pickin her quarry not chasing to tight on the hedge but the black well no way she loves it as her dad and brothers do as well, all the best mark
