Scientific FACT says there isnt a resident population of panthers,pumas,leopards or Klingons wandering around suburban gateshead,sutton coldfield,or surbiton,people always need to believe in something whether religion,ufos,sunderland winning the world cup,or cryptids,one word,PROOF,and I dont mean old B&W pics dredged up from online cat-dedicated sites,or tales of smaller felines knocked over by the 235 bus to isleworth,I mean proof of populations

Well I've used loads of different sections of Brechfa Forest for "training" purposes for at least 30 years and have seen feck all. This area is supposed to one area where loads of folk "reckon" they've seen "something" . All I can put it down to is they must have caught a fleeting glimpse of "Stella", our old Rottie when she used to come running with us , she was big and black and covered in fur for feck's sake

well ill probably take some stick about putting this up but iv heard stories and some people i know have told me theyve seen a big cat, i was 50/50 on wether to believe it, but when we were out doing cubs with the terriers we were walking along a barley field not long sown and seen big prints they were just bigger than my clenched fist and the prints were about a foot to a foot and a half gap this kind of swayed me to bellieve the stories id heard, well last night i was out lamping was a good night i shot 3 foxes, but we were lamping away and came out a field opened the gate and out onto a country road i seen eyes infront of me i wacked full beam on and there it was ran up the side of the road for about a second then shot across the other side and into a wood, jet black cat comparisin to a dog i would say roundabout a labrador size, so as iv seen it with my own eyes i know they are about, i was with another 2 people aswell so this isnt a fairytale, so whos seen 1 then? who doesnt believe about them?

 

If you look up kellas cat think this is the correct spelling, this puts a different theory on the black cats around scotland, thinking back a few have been shot, the first one was sent for analysis. It turns out its a mating between a scottish wild cat and a domistic cat and whatever way these are bred wildcat male to domistic cat or other way round it can throw a large black cat

Thats true Blue,but theres large cats and big lab-sized cats,your theory may hold true for scotland,maybe a percentage of the sightings,but for england and wales its Stella responsible 99% of the time (either in alcoholic form or Als dog)

Wasn,t there a well known trapper from North America who looked in to these so called big wild cat sighthings his conclusion dog ,dog, dog.............................................................................

Indeed there was and canines were his conclusion,however,heres what the UK's self-proclaimed "big-cat EXPERT" Danny Nineham had to say on the issue

 

"Exalan: I saw a documentary on TV a while ago which you were on I believe, with an American tracker? At the end he seemed to find lots of your evidence pointing towards dog attacks - did you agree with his findings?

 

Danny Nineham Of the tracker involved, I'd say that you can't come from Canada for two weeks and come up with the answer. He's used to dealing with puma and lynx in a different country. We've got leopard here. I regretted being involved with that documentary.

 

 

The canadian was expert on tracking and trapping mountain lion,Danny Nineham has a vested interest in UK felids as he is currently writing the definitive guide to our cryptids,packed with never-released photographs which will prove once and for all their existance (yawn) and blow the lid off the big-cat UK story,the books still not published 2 years after he began writing it,how long does it take?Few words,lots of proof-positive pics,get it published,best seller,but somehow I dont think so

Makers of To The End of the Earth: Alien Big Cats, employed two Canadian fur trappers to use their experience in catching bobcats, lynx and cougars to test the big cat claims.

After staking out parts of Somerset, Pete Wise and Simon Goldfinch went home convinced the stories about the Beasts of Exmoor and Trellech, Monmouthshire, were without foundation.

Viewers saw Mr Wise dismiss Mr Nineham's photographs of savaged animals as the work of a large dog. But Mr Nineham remains convinced.

You can't come here for three weeks, look at a few photographs and then dismiss sightings in the whole of the UK, he said.

Thousands of people have seen these animals and they can't all be hallucinating.

A Channel 4 spokesman defended the programme. He said: These men are major players and experts in their field. They looked at all the evidence presented to them, animal marks, excrement, scratchings et cetera, and concluded there are no so-called big cats.
