richard25 0
I have seen platterpus in the thames & i swear i saw a yeti in the forest of dean! No mackem seriously to think there are no unknown/or unknown to uk shores species of animals in the UK is so closed minded. but thats how you see it fair play. What about the Wallabies in the UK? http://www.wildlifeuk.net/how-widespread-a...bies-t-356.html Or the yellow scorpion colony in kent? http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2002/may/12/r...kie.theobserver Or the wild boar population soaring? http://www.britishwildboar.org.uk/ These are all facts & none of these animals were here before albeit the boar were a long long time ago & thats not even thinking about the wild mammels &fish that frequently come to our shores like killer whales in scotland etc, so the way i see it is there is surely more to be discovered & it is just a matter of time & effort before we find anymore
mackem 26,264
Crystal clear footage of wallabies, wild boar, and yellow scorpions, lots of gin clear pics I have been to Nepla on several ocassions, never met anyone who had actually seen a yeti either

richard25 0
No i was just adding a little side comment about the marine life , sorry mate As to solid pics evidence etc, check out the wild boar link above there are loads of pictures & they are Crystal clear & the wallabies http://www.pbase.com/jpsbuk/image/58565986 Check out the picture in the New forest above? & i forgot to mention all the terrapins that have now colonized the UK, Did you watch video links i posted with the big cat sightings? What did you all think? its a hard one & as usual its not clear but do have a look & tell me your thought? Edited September 29, 2008 by richard25
mackem 26,264
So thats a no for the felids then?
mackem 26,264
Amur leopard richard, rarest big cat on the face of the planet, approx 40 left in the wild, very rarely seen, but plenty of pics online Good pics as well,no mistaking them is there?I have searched all of the big-cat UK sites, not one proof-positive pic
richard25 0
So thats a no for the felids then? I know what can i say, i dont need to convince anyone & who knows, i dont care that much its just an interesting subject, but again like i said previously if you were a passionate big cat person & you found a colony of wild big cats would you tell anyone & risk future problems for them???? I personally think this might be the case for some people but again "who knows" its just fascinating to think of though & is it unreasonable & unprecidented in the UK for finding non native animals.... Difiniatly Not! Mackem & All i would be interested to know your thoughts on the video links though? Good luck
mackem 26,264
Richard,I am not closed-minded,far from it,I used to be fascinated by cryptozoology, subscribed to fortean times, had countless books, talked to natives in Malaysia about Orang Pendek, sherpas in nepal about yeti,Herdsmen in Ulaanbaatar about the mongolian death-worm,all the same as the UK cryptid mate, figments of the imagination,no proof whatsoever sadly, now I believe what I see with my own eyes amd not vicarious sightings from others
mackem 26,264
I even spent a night alone in a Philippino cemetery looking for a glimpse of a mananangal Thank f*ck I didnt bump into one
mackem 26,264
The child of an aswang Flies around at night feeding on human entrails which it rips from its still-living meal, like I said, thank f*ck I didnt bump into one,but I had protection
Kay 3,709
Theres reports in our free rag every other week about big cat sightings in the area & has been for years , as well as ufo's & yettis , its all go here in staffordshire
richard25 0
Mackem when you say you checked all the websites about uk big cats proof although there is no crystal clear fotage i think it would be fair to point out Over the years there have been cats killed :- 1989 - In Shropshire a Jungle Cat was fatally injured in a road crash 1988 - In Devon a Leopard Cat was shot 1988 - In Hampshire a Swamp Cat was killed crossing a road 1987 - On the Isle of Wight a Leopard Cat was shot and also several skulls & parts of skeletons found all around the UK some even residing now in the Natural history museum. Oh & to the point about the Amur Leopard, Russia's Amur leopard and Japan's Iriomote cat have been dubbed "endangered" but they are currently considered subspecies of leopards & this leaves the Iberian lynx, or Spanish lynx, with the dubious honor of being the most engangered cat species on Earth & when they are finding new sub species like this all the time its even got to make you think and although we can find pictures of these cats if there were any in the UK they would then become the most rare & it would be even harder to get pictures??? Mackem just read your last post & fair play & i am the same, I dont believe until i see it but i just keep an open mind & think theres alot more to see in Mother natures garden than we will ever find.
