purse nets for rats

is there anyone out there who makes there own purse nets,im after 30 small purse nets for ratting,cheers.

i had a go an made some rat nets oot a some ladies stockings, worked tae,

just didnae like getting the rats oot a them

the best way of doing this is to cut the feet out of a pair of tights ang strech then over a bean tin with both end cut out, then poke the tin into the ground around the rat hole work a treat

Yep use tights but drop the whole net and rat into a sack, trying to extract them from the tights is hard work and letting them chew themselves out is easier.

Why not just smack the net with a spade? Make short work of the Rat...

I have John and what a do it can turn into,i just tend to take my terriers these days though do live hand catch sometimes(with gloves on though).Got to keep yourself on the ball,although the last one got me in the side of the thumb.Still the terrier pups had fun playing with it and it helped with thier education.

I made some for somebody off of here 1 inch mesh 18 meshes long dont know how he got on with them just made a change from knitting rabbit nets

the only rats ive ever done with ferrets were with sticks and terriers. i try minimal contact with the rat and even getting a dead one out of a net would make me feel really dirty.

about 15 mad ratting denning terriers will od better than nets, and you'll know the rat is dead

i cant use my terrier coz its inside a big chicken pen. so its gonna have to be smoker and nets,if i manage to get any.
