iamduvern 62 Posted October 14, 2008 Report Share Posted October 14, 2008 been a mechanic all my life and into my 4x4s,the frontera is one of the worst 4x4 ever!!go for japenese ie fourtrak,hilux,trooper etc. Fronteras cheap as chips to run Just replaced my engine "220000" miles with 1 from a breakers £100 Absolute doddle to fit 1 out 1 in took 7 hours single handed also replaced rear disc/drum brakes and pads total cost £60 Ideal lamping motor rear roof lifts off fold up the back seat and fitted a detachable swivel seat easy to use 4 wheel drive never managed to get it bogged down Cheap to insure cheap for parts easy to work on tows well what more could you ask for??
