v-max 2
Sorry but im a S&B or swarovski man or zeiss as im looking to up grade but scopes are on the up £££. My bro had a leupold & in the last light it was poor & he looked through my old S&B & went & bought a 6x24x50 pvs swarovski & a very nice scope indeed but i would only consider the 3 makes mentioned. The NF are good but i dont like the way the whole eye peice turns when you crank the power up just dont do it for me that. Quote Link to post
Guest JohnGalway
Often watched foxes out around 400 yards at night with my Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 NP-R2 reticle, can't shoot that far, well I can but I can't hit shit lol it's nice watching them all the same. Daylight, well, how far can you shoot as it'll probably see farther. Quote Link to post

jamie g 17
Well ian,i have a leupold LRT 6.5x20x50 and have no peoblems spotting foxy at long range and getting him for that matter........but to be honest if you go for the zesis conquest its every bit as good a scope at a hell of alot less money........... thats the one im after to replace my mtc viper not manly because it has higher mag but because the optics are brighter. and i want a standard crosshair so it isnt clutted for foxing. dont get me wrong i shot foxes withthe viper at close to 200 yards at night but i find you dont need that croshair for foxing on a 22/250. and most likely you will find you wont have it on full mag anyway mine where shot on 12 mag Sorry but im a S&B or swarovski man or zeiss as im looking to up grade but scopes are on the up £££. Zesis would be a top end scope my friend at a low end price......for the conquest price.....and they are fooking great you won't be disapointed either.... No doubt i'd go for it...........every body will have differing opinions based on what they have........ good luck with whatever you decide..... Quote Link to post
woz 260
i use s&b through and through...i used to use a 6x42 on my 223 and shoot fox out to 270 yards without any trouble at night...i have now sold that and put the scope on my 17hmr....i have bought a remmie vssf in 22-250 and im putting a s&b 6x16x50 on that......the only bad thing i can say about s&b is the bloody rets are far to thick...the liteforce rets are so much finer but the glass isnt as good............... sauer 2
im lookin to start doing some longer range stuff in the future but go the offer of a swarovski 6x24x50 PVS and it was mint!!!! for 650 quid only problem was it was on a F-class rifle and had the fine crosshairs which no use for dawn n dusk stuff for deer or varminting.... one phone call to swarovski and away it went to get re-reticuled and serviced-----cost all in back to my door within 3 weeks £150 so for the total of £800 i got a virtually new scope with reticule i wanted for good money i thought and that was from a true gent on this site. my old scope was the same leupold 4x14x50 ilumminated from another true gent on here!!!!! good price too keep yer eyes open or even post for one in wanted....most of the guys on here willing to help when they can and are realistic and offer good deals all the best Sauer Edited September 29, 2008 by sauer Quote Link to post
