sierra blitzking bullets

I am reloading .224 40 grain sierra blitz king bullets in a .22 hornet.

could some one give me info on powders and overall bullet length.

I am new to this and cannot find info about sierra bullets on the net.

 

Hodgsons H110. or lil gun powder do it for me.

At a lenght of 1.4 85 and thats to the ogive.

had to mod the bullet magazine for these to fit in it.

hornet cz 527.

you need to strip the mag down and take out the plastic piece that the rounds back up to.

it has a long square edge that fits to the back of the mag, its held in place by 2 pins, the opposite edge is tapered this is the edge the rounds back up to and should NOT be touched.

on the square edge, mark of the amount you need to remove with a sharp tool.

( scribe it both sides) fasten a piece of course sand paper/emery paper/wet and dry.

to a flat surface and remove the amount needed, keep trying it in the mag but dont put the pins back until all fits.

the bullet follower has to have the back leg pulled out the amount you removed from the back of the stop.

 

this is the bit that cost me 40 notes for a new mag as its not as tuff as it looks.

get it red hot first.

its not easy ,but Worth the effort.
