just wondering if eany one prefers to feed there terriers raw or cooked mince justs thought ppl thanks

Mine will eat it raw(give them a Rabbit or a calf) but seem to prefer chicken mince cooked which is ok because the wife adds veg and rice which they wouldn't touch on its own.

ive been feedin it raw an both the dogs are bang in to it mixed with a bit of chudlys working dog but i think it mite increse the worms in the dogs

I freeze most carcasses for a couple weeks, though worming the dogs regulary ought to be ok, shouldn't it?

feed it raw ... the veg and fruite should be fed raw aswell ... you loose all the vitamins and nutrients as soon as you cook them ... mix them all together in a bowl make up some cheap gravy poure it over the lot and make into a soup .... they will soon eat it

1 Man I feed average dry dog food a little less than recomended by the manufacture and suppliment 5 small bits of deer meat raw,cooking takes out nutrients.Worm on a regular basis as you should if your dog engages quarry or is running through setts.I have noticed a better skin and coats with more vigor in the dogs.

cheers lads ive got a fella there who im buying the mince of its chiken tripe an beef he also has al the complete food mainly greyhound but alot of workin foods to,and he is good for antibiotics an all ya wormers so ill keep on top of it lads.ive loads of rabbits froze but just for ferret food as i dont like feedin the terrier them as he isnt a rabbit dog and the dogs are keen as f**k [bANNED TEXT] its raw so i might aswel keep em on it keep the feckers happy

I usually fry the mince in cod liver oil and add a bit of chichen or rabbit, then mix in a bit of gravy, [bANNED TEXT] i make usually last two or three days and she loves it.

ive heard that its best not to mix raw food with kibble due to different digestion rates,causing scouring

Feed it raw with a bit of gravey poured over it they digest better with warm gravey

I read that but mine aren't sheep dogs and they ate a hogget I ran over.

 

I thought, maybe I'm doing wrong feeding Rabbits to the dogs.

i dont know the man in question,or the quality of his mince,but i did used to work as a butcher,and know that not a lot of meat is wasted from a carcase,what usually is sold as beef mince is usually just lights(lungs)with little nutritional value,same with chicken,its usually just the carcase ground up with little meat on it
