Got my whole set up for £125.

If you ring him, he may even drop it off at my house for you, avoid postage costs.

looked at the new mk3 collar at the midland stubby. its a small version of the 40ft terrier collar. but its far bigger than the standard mk 1 collar. fecking great bulky thing. im used to micro collars, and i thought the mk3 slim line collar that fits snug was a step in the right direction. but you will need a 3 lb hob to lug this new mk3 round underground.

i reckon the sales of the new collar will be a disappointment  to deben, i doubt very much that i'll buy them, just hope they don't discontinue the current collars

Spoke to Deben re MK1 and was informed about the new MK3 collar at the time.

They said its now leather, step in the right direction at least, didnt say it was gonna be massive though!

Why dont they listen to people who use the things and develop 'new' products from there!!!

That be to easy mate.Never seen the new one but i reckon it will be a hinderance by the what i heard.

The one I saw was smaller than the MK1 and much lower profile. If you've got the Deben brochure it's on page 142. Leather collar, fully waterproof, magnetic switch off and longer battery life. I can't see many people buying the old one now.

Ianb put a picture up of the new ones, but I cant find it anywhere, but the larger of the two was for terriers, the ferret one looked simular to the one already in use, barring leather instead of nylon web

Just for reference was also told by Deben that MK3 collars work with the MK1 locator to 11 feet you just need to re-calibrate the wheel!
