Have fed mine everything from mice to deer and day old chicks to pheasants, chuck it in and they will eat what bits they want and i remove what they don't eat.Mine are having rat today from my live catch traps, have fed them rats before and will carry on doing so but some will say it's a big no no.

fresh beef/turkey/lamb/rabbit with fur and head but never pork of any description........day old chicks once a week, egg in milk once a week and the odd tin of pilchards/sardines, if feeding dry make sure the ferts have GALLONS of water available or they will dehydrate very quickly. i also give mine a dollop of beopharm malt paste (any petshop sells it) once a week and a dose of ferretone to keep the fur and skin in good nick (this helps keep the ticks and fleas away)

in my humble opinion, milk provides a usefull amount of vitamins etc for your ferrets but ONLY give a small amount once a week

the others are right, you need to learn a lot more before you get your ferrets

oh good god ha.PLEASE do not feed them bread and milk whatever yo do.best thing to do is read as much about them online or in a decent book but i recomend a good diet of varied meats.i get my local butcher to keep me chicken carcases, neaks, lamb, beef and any good meaty non salted or seasond scraps,if u can get sum whole rabbits(fur guts n all) there grate.i get beef liver quite cheap if not free too and that good for them bout once or twice a week along with an egg.dont over do it on ether of them cus there both very rich foods and can cause problems if given too regularly..they idealy shud be fed 2 small meals a day and have a constant supply of fresh clean water.. bu definatly look into it [bANNED TEXT] u get them, theres a lot more to know than just feeding.if your geting a whole gill your guna need to know about when shes in season and nutering and speying and all that aswell as beding and illnesses..but good luck with them anyway and hope u get many enjoyable years hunting and companionship from them
