Is this any good?

I am new to pcp's so was just wondering if this would be any good to fill my AAS200? if not what would be good to fill it?? cheers Dean

my mates AA fills to 300 bar although he doesnt fill to that pressure you would need a bigger size... 300 bar mate

i very much doubt any air arms fills to 300 bar! most rifles fill to 190 or so. that bottle would be fine. i have a 12 litre,232 bar one and it fills my rifle to 190 dozens of times.

300 bar is ok - my bottle is 300 bar, basically you dont need it. As said that will do the job

 

Edit to say - bottle is 300 - fill S400k to 180/190 from 300 bar bottle

yes i know you dont fill to 300 bar but you will need a more powerful bottle for the air arms my bsa fills to 200 max so i use a 232 bar bottle. im just going on what people with s410s told me so..

This one seems to be getting a little confusing...and the advertised bottle is 234 bar...that's a new one on me ..they are usually 232bar.

 

A 232bar 12L bottle will be absolutely fine for your gun.....the only proviso I would add is that if you use it an awful lot...and I mean a lot...or you intend to take it FAC consider a 300 bar bottle!

maybe he's advertised it wrong?? even if its 232 i think it would be fine for my useage..and i wont be taking it to the FAC limits so all is good i hope!

That bottle is fine mate ive got the same size bottle and its spot on 234-bar it fills my S400 ne bother dont put no more than 190 in

if you can gt a 3oo bar.... i have a 207 bar and my gun fills to 200 so before long there wont be 200 bar in my bottle and if for example its down to 160 bar i can only fill my gun to 160..(equal the pressure of the bottle). i realy would not buy another smoall presured bottle as i have to drive 12 miles to fill mine

Who suggested to any of you owners to get a 207 bar bottle for an air rifle...I suspect they are bottles you picked up cheap/innocently somewhere....a 207 bar bottle is not a very good idea for an air rifle unless you only fire a handful of shots a year!! If you bought this from a RFD he needs a kicking!

 

300 bar in an Air Arms is Bull, that may well be the reservoir test pressure ..it sure as hell is not the recommended fill pressure (which I think is around 190)!

 

Some serious confusion here and some very strange ideas....

 

If you want to stay alive don't fill any conventional PCP to 300bar!!!

there is no serious confusion unless you are confused..you are right the bottle was cheep it was £250 with a nice condition aa s300 + charging equipment as i live 12 (ish)miles away from the diving centre its a long way to go.

You need to read my reply in relation to the whole thread..I am talking general...there is a lot of confusion/misinformation here!

 

The original question relates to what has been suggested to be a 12L 232bar bottle...most normal air rifle users will find this will last a YEAR or more!
