Rolfe 2
I was walking on the golf course this evening checking my many mole traps....... and catching the last lovely rays of sunshine before the sun went down.......when the beauty of the place was spoilt for me by the pitiful sight of a rabbit (obviously enjoying the sunshine as i was).........but this one was in the advanced stages of Myxomatosis. I kill many thousands of rabbits each year as part of my job........but i still feel saddened to see rabbits in this terrible state. Nearby a majestic cock pheasant strutted his stuff......his colours vividly displayed in the warm evening sunshine and i admired the myriad of colours contained in his plumage........truly a thing of beauty........a sad contrast just yards apart. Guest greengrass123
Not seen a single case of myxy round this neck of the woods rolfe. Last year it was all over the place. filthy bloody disease. We always kill them off and put the corpses in water to kill the fleas off. Was reading somewhere that mosquitoes now transmit the disease dont know how true that is. Anyway hope the numbers pick up round your way.
