milliken 793
has this bitch been mated before as to me it ound like she has but has hurt he back in the prosess ? get a friend to hold her head wile you hold her up from under her pelvis and let the stud try that way but always hold her on till the mateing is over as for knowing when she is ready rub you hand over the base of her tail if ready she will point it up and to the side slightly hope this helps robert
samba 534
if you waited 11days after shes stop bleeding it to late and 14days after you saw her swelling is too as they swell earlyer than that so another 14days after swelling would be 21days so probly missed again
skycat 6,173
Some bitches aren't ready to stand until 20 days or even more: I had a bitch who started pretending to stand at about 14 days, but wouldn't let the dog get on her until day 21. I once had her force mated at 15 and 17 days: held her still for the dog, but she didn't take. Next time she came in season we kept taking her to the dog, an experienced stud, every day: he wasn't interested in her until day 21 of her season: she stood and took. You can get a bitch blood tested to find out exactly when she is ovulating: contact your vet. There are also some bitches who never willingingly stand: we had one which had to be muzzled and held: one person at her head end and the other holding her back end up so she couldn't sit down! She hated it, but took and was a very good mother to her pups. Just shows that they are all different.

Allison Dinham 0
HI COULD THE PERSON SEND THE LINK AGAIN TO THE MATEING BIT AS IV LOST THE EMAIL THANJKS, Hi, You count day one as the first day of bleeding. Then on the 11 - 14 day she should be ready as her bleeding would of either stopped or sometimes if cold be just light. If she is letting him lick her and throwing her tail over she is ready. She still could mate as some bitchs up until the 20th day. It all depends on the dog. Your know when she has finished as when you rub near the spot she will get frisky and throw her tail over. If she doesn't then she has finished. I know I am going to have trouble I think with my bitch Marley when I come to mate her. Other dogs have had have been fine but I can see trouble ahead. Maybe get her more used to the dog you plan to mate her with or like the guy said mussle her and keep her still and you and the person who owns the other dog will have to give a helping hand in mating. Good luck Ally
