Ferret trying to slug is it normal?

had to stop my ferret eating a big slug again is this normal?

I hate it when they eat slugs , it disgusting, what bothers me is if the plugs have come across pellets , i dont know if they survive long enough to make there way to the run where there attracted by food

 

I think slugs carry lung worm , i could be wrong though

Thats the only good thing i don't use any pellets for slugs.

 

It's just all that slime around her face not good

The slug secret's stuff in it slime to stop preditors from eating them watch your ferret doesn't choke on them trying to be sick

i use pellets for slugs and snails, from my air pistol that is!

its great fun lamping them on damp nights with a torch!, bit messy though! lol!

My mum always use to salt them, thats just nasty!

 

And sometimes she collects a whole bucket of them and run them over with boiling water. Theres really many where they live.

I once caught one of my ferrets chewing on one but I didn't let her eat it.

my ferrets are always getting hold of slugs hate it my mum puts a bowl with some beer in "nooooo save the beer " gets them a treat though bowl is always full in the morning

surround your plants in a line of coffee powder stuff (wet) it stops them from crossing the line. We stopped using poison when my dog managed to get a load of it. He had alot of surgery and is ok but it was touch and go. god knows what it would do to a fert

LoL at least they die happy in that way (waste of beer though)

Or you could just drink the beer to forget about the Slugs, works either way.
