hunterswind 0
Has Eric Begbie been booted out of BASC after his youtube video ????
tom1cameron 1
Nope. And as far as I can recall he has removed it after persistent challenges, some by yours truly. He is still on some BASC panels but not the wildfowling one...I think. The video was supposed to be a joke but youtube was not really the place to put that. I think he is still a good egg. tom1cameron 1
Agreed Wildfowler-2007, but the problem is that it is not only BASC and other people that know him that could see the video, it came up on google if you searched for UK wildfowling! Anyway, its gone now. While I have your attention, just looking at numbers of greys and pinks shot Iceland (35k greys 15k pinks ...ish annually). It seems like heaps given that Iceland only has 350k residents. What do you think about doing the same kind of bag record scheme they do there, here in the UK? hunterswind 0
Looks like Eric has given up his posts on the BASC commities but is still a BASC member.
Les Becassines 0
Gentlemen, sorry I am late to this discussion but I just joined this forum. I don't know Mr. Begbie personally but I have participated at another forum with him and have always found him to be helpful. I am not a member of the BASC so I am not familiar with the video in question or any other aspects of that group. Last year Eric put someone in contact with me that was doing research on snipe. Because of his effort I was able to send data to help Professor Hale with his research. Skip
