Just had two lads come to my door."You the guy who keeps ferrets"?

I was like aye.Well the went into this big speal that they saved up and bought nets and hutch.They got 2 ferrets from someone and went out and they have lost them.Now im starting to feel a bit sorry for them and was even considering giving them a replacement until i heard the tale.I asked them where they lost them about.I know the area they were talking about.Anyway i said did you block of the holes do you want a loan of a live trap.How long have they been lost.I will take thier answer to my grave."OH ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF"!!!!!! We seen the rabbits run down ther hole and we went got ferts to get them out. I sent them off to check again and if not block the holes off and check the morra.Im just thinking i hope they dont get murdered out there at night lol I would feel bad

shockin maybe while they were saving up they could have red a book it aint them i feel sorry for its the ferrets that young ones get that dont have a clue.

Sounds like the kids from my area of scotland they get ferrets and leave them if they dont come up after 10min shocking we know but they always seem to get ferrets from someone the only young lads i know that ferret without nets

ive had to wait 4 houors for ferrets, and if thay dont show i dig them out, but that was along time ago now and my ferrets will bolt and show, if there isnt anny thing else to bolt thay will keep poping out lol, ah well thay have only just started .

Well decided to take the day off work.Went up to the area they lost them at.They certainly blocked off the holes as i told em.No sign of my trap though Unblocked the holes and made a bit of sqeaking and noise.,Sat and had a smoke and sure enough out popped a rather sheepish jill.Waited around for a bit but no sighn of the other one.Im guessing it may have wandered off last night before they blocked them off.I took it to the lads house and its now back in his hutch.Spoke to the lads mother and by the sound of it they are pretty keen on ferreting.So i told her i would drop off some books and a cpl dvds on ferts.Will see how it goes and if they still keen by the time i do some serious ferreting i will take em out the odd tiime.Told the mother if she was looking for a xmas present for the lads may i suggest a locator.I will go back up later and mooch around see if i can retrieve the other fert.Incidentally the mum is a stunner and divorced so not a wasted day after all

Hi well i am happy to hear the kids took some advice from you shows they want to learn but it was good to hear you picked up one of the ferrets i dont like the thought of people leaving them so a half decent end by getting one of them back
