T78 4
just bought a tin to try in my falcon...i used to use them yrs ago and think they were ok. i use penetrators now but think they're a bit heavy at 20.4 grn.(and the 16 grn version's a bit light)the pest control are about 18 grn.(i know,i'm a fussy bugger! ) they'll be used for lamping bunnies at 25/30 yard max. anyone else use them and what do you think? Guest hyperion
ive used them alot for rats but i find them to heavy for anything further that twenty yards, and when i did penertration tests with them using apples, soap bars and oranges i found they had more penertration than round nosed pellets (due to the weight i think) and did less damage on the way through as well! though i solved that by using a scalpel to dig and cut the cup of the hollow point out so that they expand on impact! others may say different but i think there great for rats and ferals in barns but not much else! cheers hyperion Quote Link to post
richie 1
ive still got a tin sitting here.... not bad close range, but anything over 25yrds, forget it.. my personal opinion is their shite, but each rifle will have different results.. Quote Link to post
Timelord 0
Hyperion is right they are very good for rats and ferrals in barns but like he pointed out they are a little on the heavy side, so they will fly slower than some pellets. I use these H & N Pest Control Pellets they are a light weight 12.6gr hollow point and are the perfect pellet for short range pest control very fast and hard hitting. IMO these will do the job really well for rats and ferrals in barns... Quote Link to post
Guest hyperion
never tried the h&n pest control! might have to get a tin! lol! Quote Link to post
Timelord 0
never tried the h&n pest control! might have to get a tin! lol! Well worth a try mate the Bisley's weigh in at 18.2grain which is a very heavy hollow point whereas the H&N's are weighing in at 12.6. Give them a try and let us know how your gun shoots with them Quote Link to post

half n' half 8
i tried these in .22 and .25 in various guns and found them the most innacurate pellet i've ever tried. Quote Link to post
Coney 3
Tried them but found them on the heavy side and no good for distance shots. Quote Link to post
borak 1
i use rws super hpoints they seem to do the job out to 20 - 30 yards they expand well to and you dont get many that are damaged in the tin either i have used about 4 tins not had a bad 1 yet allso use airarms fields there a great pellet and easy punch 1 hole groups out to 40-50 Quote Link to post
masmiffy 82
Hi pit I got a Titan Manitou forrunner of the FN19. It loves air arms field, they are just over the 16 grain mark. Have spoken to Falcon who set all guns, before sale, with Bisley Magnums. This keeps the MV to just below 12ft lb on their rifles, therefore legal on all other pellets! Still think its a personal preference thing. Do remember having a tin of BSA huntsman, again just over the 16 grain mark, and the Titan loved them as well!! Quote Link to post
