DevonHunter 0
Been waiting for 2 days now, to hear what the murder weapon was for the cornish guy who was murdered and his wife was shot in the back (still recovering and in stable condition) And as my fears predicted it was indeed described as a '.22 high velocity rifle'. How did this guy get past his FAC 'inspection' ? and its situations like this that worry me as in 2 months time i shall be getting my first FAC license. I want that opputunity to hurry as i dont think this country will let these so called 'weapons' be purchasable unless your a pest controller. Hope the f****r rots in his cell. Quote Link to post

Could have been the murder victim's. The family were Jehova's Witnesses and the the victim was said to be a really nice guy. Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
This is all very sad of course and no doubt the recriminations are bouncing about everywhere..has the rifle/calibre been substantiated yet...are we talking .22LR or a .22CF??? Not actually heard this news report at all!!! But this sort of thing can never do us any favours whatever!!! Quote Link to post
rogerwedlake 0
Bear in mind this is rumour. I understand the rifle belonged to the father of the assailant. My boss's cousin works(ed) for the victim and the land I shoot on is no more than half a mile from Clear Flow's depot in Bissoe. I only got my first rifle (17hmr) yesterday and the guy I bought it off was horrified that he might have sold the murder weapon. He looked through his records and was relieved to find out that it wasn't him. The victim was a really nice guy by all accounts and my heart goes out to his wife and daughter. Hopefully there will not be too many recriminations regarding FAC issue. Quote Link to post
