richie 1
does anyone have any experience with this ammo ? , its £13.75 per 100 which is cheap as.... obviously im a believer that you get what you pay for, but at this price i think it could be worth trying.. Quote Link to post
Mr_Logic 5
If you're lucky and have a gun that likes it, it's decent enough for practice. If you're not lucky (likely) then it's crap ammo and goes all over the bloody place. It really is luck of the draw though, Deker's T3 shoots v-bulls all afternoon at 200 yards with it, my Remington, and the Howa before it, are lucky to put 5 on a piece of A4 at 100 yards. jamie g 17
i still like the privi ammo. yes its about £8 for 20 but is very accurate. yes it depends on the rifle but its worth a try what makes me smile is if your rifle does shoot well with them they shoot very well with them Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
As has already been said it depends on your make, barrel and twist rate!! I am fortunate that my T3 is perfectly happy with them, and as Mr L has said, I can deal out V Bulls at 200 yards all day with them...so that suits me as I can let go plenty in a day without having a problem paying the mortgage! But I target shoot for fun these days and if I was into serious competition I would not dream of using them!! And there are a lot of rifles that hate them! PPU or PRVI definately has the edge in my opinion but it costs circa £35 per 100 FMJ instead of Barnaul at around £14 per 100 (just gone up to £16 round here)! I can but suggest you get hold of a box and give it a try...but don't buy hundreds up front!!! Quote Link to post
