has any had a bitch with a prolapse womb

Recommended Posts

Not me personally, but a friend did. I gather that if you were to have pups from a bitch like that she would almost certainly prolapse, and may have trouble carrying them full term anyway. This means an increased risk of infection and with it brings all the rest of the trouble. My friend had theirs spade.

I would be very surprised if the bitch could carry a litter full term,In simple terms I dont think it it is viable for the bitches safety ,Best getting her spayed, sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

Good chance she will have it again,I've only had it once in 20 years with my stuff but had to get the bitch spayed.

Did you push it back in yourself or vets ?sometimes putting sugar on it shrinks it to help get it back in dependes how bad.
