jjbull 38 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Share Posted September 24, 2008 i think everyone has there own particular method of stock breaking but the younger you start generally the easier it is going to be, what i did was simply walking the dog near stock and any time he even looked at them he got a stern no and a sharp yank on the lead, once he paid no interest he was put on a long lead and walked through them, i was expecting mine to have a little run after them here but mine didnt and so thats as far as i had to take mine but make sure you have a good strong hold on the lead and if he takes after the stock a good yank on the lead and a severe bollocking, once he can be walked through with out showing any hint of interest try with out a lead but have a nice whippy branch handy just in case you need to reinforce the situation it can be a long time coming could be really quick but the longer you leave it the harder its going to be Quote Link to post
