hi mate dont think you need a license the only thing you need is a license if your after game birds you can get them from the post office

The Game licence was abolished in England and Wales last year but not Scotland at that time!!

 

No idea if it has since been repealed in Scotland...I would be interested to know for sure if someone can confirm either way!!!

techniqally you need to be a trained person to set snares in scotland mate ie through work or done some sort of course
