littletimmy 71
Some advice sniper. Don't breed dogs. You do not hold enough knowledge to do it sucessfully. Quote Link to post
Guest ooty
someone please tell me what a tumbler is?? im sure its a bird?? Where I come from a Tumbler is a type of Pigeon and all ways will be. I own a young Jeff Burrell bred bitch and admittedley I sometimes call her a Tumbler ( most lurcher men know that Jeff calls some of his dogs Tumblers!!! ) when I know full well that a lurcher is a lurcher no matter how, where or who bred it. I have just getting back in with my Jeff Burrell bred bitch Molly and she has definately just worked her sox off. I have only getting a dozen bunnys with her (what she has hunted and found) but she has had it to do on a bankside that definately tests fit dogs. No excuses when I say she is no where near fit but still she gives it her all. The young bitch has her faults and has a long way to go before a made dog. People shouldnt crab what they havnt seen and I'm definately not afraid to take anyone out and see her work, infact there are one or two keen, good dog lads from this site who have seen her work. I have never ever said she is a super star but to the crabbers who think they might have a GOOD mooching Cur, I will gladley have a mooch with you, on any type of land!! Regards Warren my dogs will throw themselves at a rabbit as oposed to loose it into the hedge, and they are all bred by me and born in norfolk, guess that makes my a genuine breeder of norfolk tumblers.im even introduceing acd blood to the line, said to contain the only smithfeild blood there is,so maybe ill be comeing close to the origonal norfolk smithfeild lurcher??
