There might be a small scar on the midline, where the wound was.

Years ago, you used to be able to feel the stitches in the muscle, but now they're all absorbable.

Otherwise - she won't come into season!

by the way pall if you anabout the bitch you got of me mate it has not bin nutred so can have pups

i can still feel the stitches in my terriers belly. she was done a year ago this month...

the stray shepherd i cant tell.... it used to be a vet would tattoo the dog so you would know! i wish they would still do that! it would save time and money rather than taking a dog to a vet, opening it up and finding out it was already neutered and still having to pay for all that mess!

it's difficult to see stitches now as they tend to have internal ones, my bitch was done earlier this year and i can't see a scar
