Is there anywhere that you can race Lurchers in Scotland?

i've been looking for something like this myself mate...got a greyhound an a young lurcher..only thing i've seen like that was at a lurcher show in haddington(east lothian) that me an my mate went to last year(was on playing fields behind a pub)..think it was the guys from the JACK RUSSELL TERRIER CLUB GB that had the lure cos am sure i only seen terriers racing that day..but if a hear of anything i will certainly let you know..cheers chris..

theres a few whippit clubs in scotland they might give you a run

You can run it at the caledonian whippet club at Longanet power station. (Alloa)

 

Starts 12.30 - 1 every sunday from april to october.

 

There's a few guys bring their lurchers for a run and get a race with them.

Cheers for that. How hard would it be to start something that was just purely racing..no money..just a fun thing for Lurchers/Whippets etc in Scotland?

Theres a whippet club meet at randolph park in Kirkcaldy on saterdays and you used to get to run lurchers round thornton greyhound track on a sunday, but im not sure if they still let you.
