finally got it

HI PICKED UP A WILD POLECAT LAST NIGHT FROM A MATE WHO CAUGHT IT IN A FENN MK 6 BIG BUGGER NEVER SEEN FEET SO BIG TOTALLY DARK BUT NOT BAD TO HANDLE AM GOING TO BREED IT WITH MY DARK POLECAT JILL SO SHOULD GET SOME NICE KITS OFF THEM ONLY PROBLEM I NEED TO UPSIZE MY FERRET COLLAR NO WHERE NEAR FITS HIM PLUS ANOTHER PROBLEM FULL OF TICKS SO SPRAYED HIM IN FRONTLINE LAST NIGHT THEN GOING TO SORT THE REST OUT LATER SHOULD MAKE A GOOD WORKER WITH A LOT OF HANDLING WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW HE PROGRESSES CHEERS DM :victory:

ps the fenn traps would have killed it, it was probably caught in a live trap.

I'll eat my hat if it's a wild one that you can handle... not a snowman's chance in hell !!!

I'd put money on it being a feral polecat ferret.....no way would you be able to handle or put a collar on a wild one....very difficult to tell wild polecat from a domesticated hybrid....handling aside that is....lol

agree with undisputed,i once caught a very large polecat which must have escaped very shortly before i captured him,and i couldn't get near to him to pick up,i eventually bagged him but he just couldn't be handled,this was probably a domesticated ferret let loose for a short while,i'm sure a genuine 'wild polecat' would be even more hostile than this,
