Please dont use either of the above as there are also red squirrels in your area, you must use a live catch cage trap, theres many available in the shops, but better still ring the Wildlife Trusts (Northumberland) let then know which woods you have permision to control squirrels in, and they will send you a few traps for free!

important point there, just because some species are classed as pests, you still need permission to catch or cull,

 

shooting or catching a pest species in you back garden, and unless you have a good enough reason, you could still be breaking the law
